I was on my way home to Santa Fe after a weekend in Albuquerque, when I decided on a whim to take the Waldo Canyon road from Cerrillos. I don't do that often, as it's a dirt road and takes a good bit longer.  Yet whenever I do, it makes me happy. This morning was no exception to that rule — especially as it proved to be the last sunny morning just before the weather turned grey and wintery for a while.
