emerging from dormancy

Sending this post out into the ether, not knowing if anyone will see it.

Ahhh, yes.... Since shifting my blog energy a few years ago over to my taosdawn.com blog on Wordpress, I've barely given even half-hearted attention to this Blogger page. In fact I’ve thought seriously about just ditching it altogether. But some web-savvy folks have advised me to keep it, if only to let it be yet another conduit for people to find my art and me on the web.

So after contemplating that concept for a while, I've decided to resuscitate this site so that it at least lives up to the name I gave it a few years back: 'Dawn Chandler Painting Folio.'

My intention is that this will be a place where I will release new paintings into the world. It will indeed be a folio — a catalog — of new artwork.

Most posts here then will be straightforward: a big beautiful photo of a new painting, with a link to more details via my online gallery store

I’ll start with the new series I just announced on taosdawn.com: my New Mexico Sky Musings Series

So for the scant handful of peeps who continue to keep a tab on this dormant Blogger page, in the weeks to come you will be among the very first to see my newest work — often before even my TuesdayDawnings subscribers!

If you’re still here, thanks for following!

And if you've somehow just stumbled onto this little Blogger endeavor, Welcome!

Now stand by: another couple of posts are coming down the pike posthaste.

p.s.: I’ll continue to share here excerpts from and links to my “real,” deeper-dive posts from taosdawn.com to further solidify that supposedly desirous “web presence.”

p.p.s: I've turned off comments. If you'd like to contact me, shoot me a message via taosdawn.com
