new mexico sky musing, no. 9 ~ cloud currents of ink black wings

I finished this painting ages ago, yet yesterday it was different than it is today. For yesterday it didn't have that dancing calligraphy of bird wings. As much as I loved the colors and impending storm mood, the painting suddenly felt like it needed something more. Then I examined carefully the words just barely hidden by layers of paint: "

...currents among....

... of ink black ...

and then I knew what it needed!
