new mexico sky musings, no. 5 ~ hint of autumn on the wings
The purples and pinks to the clouds is this one cheer me, as does that quick energetic "scribbling" of bird-flight across the sky. Usually I use black to make those kinds of marks, but this time I chose a blueish color. Notice the word "wings" ghosted there? Funny, but I don't remember noticing that before — although surely I noticed it as I was painting!
Interesting, too, that so often my clouds suggest rain coming, but these clouds for me aren't a harbinger of storm. It's just a beautiful day with some clouds in the sky, and nothing more. Except, perhaps, the hint of autumn in the air....
