When I set out to paint my previous painting (see previous post), this was my destination. However I missed the Waldo Canyon turn-off, and ended up driving on to Albuquerque. No big deal — I just found a different place to paint that day!

 

But the NEXT day, I made certain to find my way back to Waldo Canyon, solely to paint the cottonwoods. I didn't miss the turn this time. ;-)
